Light or dark, bold or spicy and distilled to perfection, Grain Bar introduces versatile variations of Rye. Produced all over the world using a range of processes, every Rye based spirit tells a story of its environment. Rye July is a project that brings together a variety of tastes that come from different places under one roof.  Showcasing the versatility of the spirit, Grain Bar has tinkered with a selection of styles to produce a special line up of cocktails, which we invite you to enjoy over the next two months.

At the forefront of this exciting campaign is the hottest thing to hit the Sydney bar scene, the incredibly talented Cedric Mendoza, Grain Bar’s Head Bartender.  Timing’s couldn’t have aligned better as Rye Whiskey is highlighted as one of Cedric’s favourite spirits.  He’s wasted no time in experimenting with Australian produce, incorporating some of the best internationally-acclaimed brands to create a one of a kind Rye based cocktails menu.

Known for his creative, fun and perfectly balanced cocktails, guests will be taken on a cocktail journey that will delight their senses.  Inspired by old classics mixed with new age techniques, Sydney siders will be privy to cocktails such as ‘Gimlet & Tonic’ a twist on two of the world’s best-selling classic’s –  Gimlet and Gin & Tonic.
