The new $3.4 million King George V Recreation Centre provides City residents, workers, students and visitors with a "state-of-the-art" community and recreation facility. Representing the City’s first indoor sports centre, the new facility is an ideal venue for corporate sports competitions as well as an important community meeting place for Millers Point and CBD residents. Facilities and Equipment: Indoor: Two indoor basketball stadiums, a community craft room, a meeting room and a fully equipped gymnasium; Outdoor: Outdoor basketball court, playground and barbecue areas. Programs: vacation care; after-school care; adult education classes; youth programs; fitness classes; craft workshops; sport competitions (netball, basketball, volleyball); court hire.
