Getting to The Rocks

The Rocks is in central Sydney, just a short stroll from the city's two most recognisable landmarks, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. It is also just around the corner from the Circular Quay transportation hub. The Rocks extends from the harbour in the north and east, to Kent Street in the west, and Grosvenor Street in the south.

Getting here is easy with a number of transport options available.

	Pedestrian Access The Rocks is an easy 10-minute stroll from Sydney's CBD. The main entry point to The Rocks is via George Street. Visitors walking from Darling Harbour can also enter The Rocks via Hickson Road.

	Train Take the train to Sydney's Circular Quay and you are only a short walk away. Just head in the direction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and you're on your way! W: www.cityrail.info/timetables
	Bus Major Sydney public transport networks STA Buses connect with The Rocks. For buses travelling through the CBD along Elizabeth, Castlereagh, George or York Streets, get off the bus at Alfred Street and head north to The Rocks. W: www.sydneybuses.info/timetables.htm

	By Car There are a number of secure, conveniently located parking stations throughout The Rocks. Simply click on a car park below for more information. New! You can now get driving directions to every car park in The Rocks. Simply click on the car park name below, enter the location you're travelling from in the 'From' field and press 'Go'. 	Taxi Taxi ranks are positioned along George Street, near Playfair Street and the Metcalfe Arcade, at the Overseas Passenger Terminal and also on Alfred Street.
