ARTEXPRESS The Rocks

Contemporary art hits Sydney's oldest laneways as The Rocks hosts a unique street gallery of outstanding works by NSW High School Certificate Visual Arts students during February and March.

The annual ARTEXPRESS exhibition will feature paintings, sculptures, prints, ceramics, videos and mixed-media works in shop windows and within The Rocks' beautiful historic buildings.

The works of 46 students from across metropolitan and regional NSW will be showcased in 25 venues around The Rocks including the Ken Duncan Gallery, The Rocks Discovery Museum, Old Sydney Holiday Inn and Sydney Visitor Centre between 1 February and 28 March.

Established in the 1950s, ARTEXPRESS has become a renowned annual exhibition of exemplary student artwork featuring a broad range of subject matter, approaches, styles and media.
