Look through a safe solar telescope with one of the Sydney Observatory's knowledgeable astronomers. On a clear day, you can see the Sun, bright stars and maybe the Moon or Venus!
Please note, it is not safe to look at the Sun through any normal telescope, with binoculars or the naked eye. Doing so could seriously damage your eyesight.
After a tour of the telescope domes, visit the digital planetarium.
Bookings can be made in advance online for 2.15pm, 3.15pm and 4.15pm tours daily. Bookings are not essential for all remaining time slots – just arrive 5 minutes before the session starts. Morning sessions are available outside school times.
