Explore the highlights of the southern sky on a night tour at Sydney’s oldest observatory. Use telescopes* to see the stars, Moon, a nebula or the planets during this quintessential Sydney experience.

Starting Times: 6:15pm^ and 8.15pm

The 8.15pm night tour lasts two hours and includes the Planetarium, telescope viewing (weather permitting)* and dome tour.

^ The 6.15pm tour is designed for families and can be booked here.

* Tours are held regardless of the weather. If viewing through the telescopes is not possible due to sky conditions, other activities will be arranged. Tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged or rain checked for patrons who contact the Observatory prior to 12 noon on the day of their tour.
