Enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of free live home-grown music, outdoor markets, giant games and more at this essential summer street festival.

Gather your friends together and revel in an unforgettable afternoon of free live music. Head to Warrane Stage at First Fleet Park and bare your soles on the grass and your soul to the music of a sensational crop of up-and-coming, home-grown artists.

Warrane Stage at First Fleet Park:

  • 12.25pm: Welcome to Country
  • 12.30pm: OKA—imagine Bob Marley meets Stevie Wonder via the Chemical Brothers, in a rainforest with a didgeridoo
  • 1.50pm: Low Down Riders—New Orleans street jazz from Sydney’s inner west
  • 2.50pm: Tinpan Orange—ethereal indie folk
  • 4.10pm: The Snowdroppers—blues rock
  • 5.15pm: Marlon Williams and the Yarra Benders—blending sounds of country, folk and blues.

 

Overseas Passenger Terminal South Stage:

  • 12.15pm to 2.15pm: Perch Creek—a quintet of energetic multi‐instrumentalists and vocalists whose harmony-driven roots music with a creative energy and fearless spirit sparkles with imagination and individuality (this set includes a lunchbreak from 12.45pm to 1.15pm)
  • 3.15pm to 4pm: 4 x 6—a classical crossover guitar and cello duo who specialise in performing instrumental interpretations of well-known pop songs
  • 4.15pm to 5pm: The Hunting Birds—a young, captivating five-piece outfit embodying honest performance and songwriting

No, the event is FREE for all ages.

Yes Australia Day Event has several of activities and performances that are appropriate for children and families.

How do I get to The Rocks?
Getting to The Rocks is easy with a number of transport options available. For more information on public transport options visit www.transportnsw.info.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?
All areas of the event are wheelchair accessible including train stations.

Can I buy food and drinks during the event?
