Linger in the lanes and go barefoot on the green as all the sounds and sensations of a great Aussie summer come together on Australia Day in The Rocks.

26 January
Monday
12pm - 6pm
George Street, First Fleet Park, and Atherden Street, The Rocks

Gather your friends, sit back and savour an unforgettable afternoon of free live music. Home-grown artists such as Dustin Tebbutt, Saskwatch, Thelma Plum, Little May, The Bombay Royale and more will bring their original sounds to the festival’s outdoor stages. Celebrate and refresh at the Rocks Brewing Company open-air bar.

Kick off your shoes and wander up the freshly Astroturfed George Street with the sun on your shoulders and sea-breeze in your hair. Young and old alike can practice their percussion skills at Sound Garden, strike up some friendly rivalry at croquet, and party on down to The Pit Stop where beat boxers abound and Triple J’s Hottest 100 is counting down. Peruse market stalls for locally-designed fashion, jewellery and art. Feast on mouth-watering flavours from around the world or pop into your favourite local.

This is the essential summer street festival, made for you this Australia Day.
