Sydney pie company Broomfields have opened a pie and mash hatch in The Rocks, serving its classic British pie menu.
Handcrafted on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Ryan Broomfield learned how to make pies from his brother Neil, Britain’s most awarded pie maker and judge of the British pie awards.
Broomfields unique all butter pastry case is filled with the finest Australian ingredients from local producers, farms and market stallholders in New South Wales – there will always be the classic British flavours on offer: Traditional Beef and Onion, Chicken and Leek and Cheese and Onion. However, the specials will vary, depending on the seasonality of ingredients and the weekly discoveries Ryan makes at Sydney’s local farmers markets so expect to see some unique flavour combinations inspired by Ryan’s British roots and the finest Australian ingredients.
