To beat this virus, we need to follow the government’s health advice, stay inside if we’re sick and practice social distancing wherever possible.

But, since we’re all in lockdown, let’s take this time to appreciate the little things and all the awesome people in our lives. Call your nan and have a laugh. Schedule a romantic date night in with your better half. Have a beer over Skype with an old friend. And while you’re at it, why not share a delicious takeaway meal (or several) prepared by an awesome local business.

The hospitality industry has been hit hard but these legends are staying open and serving up delicious meals takeaway or delivered to your door. Show your support and keep eating, drinking and shopping local. To get you started, here are a few of our favourite hospitality businesses and shops in the Rocks offering delivery or takeaway, social distancing style.

Creperie Suzette is sending a clear message to the public “We’re still open!” This is the perfect spot to grab takeaway breakfast or lunch, with breakfast bagels, sweet and savoury crepes, galettes and coffees on ‘le menu’. It’s all delicious but our favorite is the La Pomme Cannelle with poached apple and cinnamon.
