Shangri-La’s resident Chinese chefs have created a Lunar New Year feast, which revolves around the beauty of Chinese culture, including a traditional musical performance. Guests will enjoy a sumptuous seafood buffet of Pacific oysters, Alaskan crab legs, Balmain Bugs, steamed scallops in XO sauce, and more. Celebrating the Year of the Pig, family and friends can gather together and savour dishes like “Dong Po’ pork belly, eight treasure vegetables with sea cucumber, petit desserts, and a whole roasted Suckling Pig at Café Mix’s private dining room. Each mouthful is a sensory journey… Friday 1st February to 5th February Café Mix, Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney Buffet $88pp, $58 for children under 12yrs Dinner 6pm-10 pm Roasted Suckling Pig: additional $500 each and must be ordered two days before dining. Café Mix’s Private Dining Room accommodates up to 10 guests, with a minimum spend of $1888, which includes a Whole Roasted Suckling Pig and Café Mix’s main dining room Lunar New Year buffet.
