The Rocks Markets, known and loved by Sydneysiders for its unique gift and delectable food stalls, is launching an exciting new addition to its weekend offering -- mouth-watering cuisine from a line-up of some of Sydney’s best food trucks.

From Saturday 20 April, the food trucks will be set up under the Harbour Bridge on a rotational basis, and are guaranteed to delight the taste buds and fill everyone’s bellies ahead of the cooler months. Starting with Dirty Bird, Let’s Do Yum Cha and Sol Y Luna for the opening weekend followed by Miss Mabel’s and Chilli N Grains as the weather starts to cool down.

Dirty Bird is bringing southern-style fried chicken to the heart of The Rocks. Drawing inspiration from flavours and techniques found in Japan, Dirty Bird’s fried chicken dishes are guaranteed to get the tongue wagging! Grab their Instagrammable Crack-A-Mac fried chicken burger with a side of southern hot wings, or treat yourself to their Dirty Bird-take on a mochi donut, packed with yummy goodness.

Let’s Do Yum Cha will be serving up Chinese classics with a twist. Enjoy your Yum Cha favourites, handmade daily using local ingredients and freshly cooked in the truck. From pork buns to prawn dumplings, to vegetarian and vegan options, there is something to suit everyone.

Make your way to Sol y Luna for a traditional Mexican fiesta with a bit of spice and a lot of colour! Treat yourself to their taco and bread rolls, corn chips with pibil-style pulled pork, grilled beef and chicken tinga and their delicious warm churros. Sol y Luna will even be serving breakfast for those heading to the markets early; grab a traditional bacon and egg roll or go for the chorizo and egg, or zucchini and egg roll to kick-start your day.

The iconic blue Miss Mabel’s food truck is finding its monthly home in The Rocks. Indulge in their 14-hour slow-roasted pulled pork burger, Mexican quinoa and bean salad, or try their popular wicked fries - sweet potato chips topped with salsa, cheese and aioli.

If you enjoy spice and everything nice, Chilli N Grains will be in The Rocks creating magical flavours for their dishes using chillies, grains and spices. For something different, try the curry nachos or treat yourself to a chicken tikka taco or pulled pork taco. Add in some deliciously salty fries to really bring the feast together!

Walk off all your indulgence by further exploring The Rocks Markets, the only harbour-view market in the CBD. Home to carefully curated artisan wares, locally-made clothing and  accessories, handcrafted textiles and beauty products, let your stomach settle, and stroll through the stalls along the cobblestone streets.
