Mode Kitchen and Bar Celebrate Five Years with a Trip Down Memory Lane

Executive Chef Francesco Mannelli pulls out his fan favourite dishes for five days. Mode Kitchen and Bar is perched perfectly off the grand lobby of Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, and on the 21st of July, guests will hear champagne popping and jazz music playing as the team celebrates a successful five years.

A set menu featuring the best dishes from the last five years is available for five days, all complimented with wine pairings from the 2017 vintage. Five lucky guests will win prizes on the anniversary evening.

Executive Chef Francesco Mannelli has made a name for himself amongst the Sydney community and visitors, providing a simple, uncomplicated, yet utterly memorable dining experience. He has stayed true to his Italian roots in seeking the best produce and delivering it exceptionally well. The best seasonal produce is a given with a roster of Mannelli’s favourite produce already on board, including calamari from South Australia, New Zealand scampi and fresh truffles from Tasmania.

Some of the favourites that will be featured are:

  • Kingfish Crudo, macadamia, sweet & sour sauce, pickled onion
  • Roasted Duck Breast, radicchio, white onion soubise & orange sauce
  • Frozen Pavlova (the original) with coconut, passionfruit & mango

Over the last five years, the restaurant has been awarded a Chef Hat for two consecutive years and has received the best wine list by Australia’s Wine List of the Year award.

The Anniversary Dinner Menu is available from 19 – 23 July with special celebrations on the 21st of July, including complimentary champagne upon arrival and lucky prize winners.
