Find creative connections with family and friends in a relaxed gallery opening and workshop at Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, developed in collaboration with Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia).

A small, tailored program of structured creative activities designed to support Autistic children.

Spend a morning with MCA Artist Educators and other families experiencing artworks chosen for participants with sensory needs, followed by a hands-on artmaking workshop.

10.30–10.45am: Welcome
Arrive at the MCA via the Circular Quay entrance where an MCA Artist Educator will welcome and guide you to the National Centre for Creative Learning on Level 3. There will be a dedicated studio and Quiet Area for you to settle in and relax. 

10.45–11.10am: Tailored gallery tour
Visit a current exhibition to see Autism-friendly artworks.

11.10am–12pm: Artmaking workshop
Return to your dedicated studio in the National Centre for Creative Learning and join a fun workshop facilitated by MCA Artist Educators.  

12pm  
The event concludes.
