Join Sāmoan/Australian artist Angela Tiatia and MCA Curator Antares Wells for a deep dive into the artist's 2026 MCA Vivid Sydney Commission, Vaiola.

Vaiola presents a lush vision of Oceanic futurism, continuing Tiatia's consideration of migration, climate and belonging through a distinctly Pacific lens. Learn more about the making of the work, storytelling and symbols of Pacific culture and identity, and Tiatia's practice across photography, film and performance.

The conversation will be followed by a Q&A and a viewing of Vaiola at 8pm. Ticket includes Museum Admission.
