ANZAC Day at The Glenmore

Visit The Glenmore for Sydney's best ANZAC Day experience to pay tribute to and commemorate the ANZAC spirit.

ANZAC Day at The Glenmore Hotel brings tradition, ceremony and atmosphere together in one of Sydney’s most iconic ANZAC Day settings, located in the heart of The Rocks.

From 12pm, the day begins with a traditional game of two-up, a long‑standing ANZAC Day ritual that sets the tone for the afternoon. The sound of the Scots Marching Band soon follows, filling Cumberland Street with music that honours service and sacrifice. As the day builds, the energy shifts across the pub and rooftop, with DJs spinning throughout the afternoon and evening, drinks flowing and hearty food served.

High above the harbour, The Glenmore’s rooftop offers sweeping views of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House, creating a distinctly Sydney backdrop for ANZAC Day. The mix of heritage surrounds, live music and time‑honoured traditions continues to draw crowds year after year, making it a cornerstone of the city’s ANZAC Day calendar.

Running from midday through to evening, ANZAC Day at The Glenmore delivers a memorable way to mark the day in The Rocks.
