Data Dreams: Art and AI
This exhibition is the first of its kind in a major Australian museum and is presented as part of the Sydney International Art Series 2025–26.
Featuring works by leading contemporary artists from around the world, this exhibition throws light on how artists are engaging with artificial intelligence to imagine new ways of being and to consider the implications that these technologies hold for humanties collective future.
Data Dreams presents ambitious projects in a wide range of media, from the immersive and interactive to intimate reflections, each grappling with technology's impacts on humanity. Across a series of interconnected, experiential gallery spaces, visitors will discover how artificial intelligence is informing and shaping new forms of contemporary artistic practice.
