The National Indigenous Art Fair will showcase creations from First Nations artists, designers and makers for its sixth annual art market.

The National Indigenous Art Fair is proudly presented by First Hand Solutions Aboriginal Corporation in partnership with the Port Authority of NSW, Destination NSW, University of Technology Sydney, Placemaking NSW, the City of Sydney, Nelson Meers Foundation, Macquarie Foundation, Gilbert + Tobin, the Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support (IVAIS) program, and Mercure Sydney.

Returning to Gadigal Land on 5-6 July 2025, the fair will offer a vibrant two-day market and cultural festival at Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal. Bringing together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from some of the most remote communities across Australia, the event showcases handcrafted, limited-edition works - icluding original art, textiles, fashion, jewellery, and homewares - created using locally sourced materials and traditional techniques.

Set against Sydney Harbour’s stunning backdrop, the fair highlights award-winning Indigenous artistry and offers Sydneysiders the rare chance to connect directly with makers from regions as diverse as Bathurst Island in the Tiwi Islands, Yuendumu in the Northern Territory, and Port Hedland in Western Australia. This annual celebration honours the rich traditions, distinct styles, and cultural knowledge embedded in each artist’s work.

Held during NAIDOC Week, the fair aligns with the 2025 theme "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy" and offers live music, dance, weaving circles, bush food tastings, and fashion showcases.

Entry costs $3 with proceeds supporting remote artists. Free entry for children under 12.

Tickets can be pre-booked online or purchased at the door.
