Poetry on Tallawoladah
Step up and let the words flow as part of the MCA’s NAIDOC Week celebrations. Young and emerging poets and spoken word performers are invited to join an open mic session in the MCA Collection galleries.
Hosted by artist and poet Ethan Bell, a Wallabalooa man from the Ngunawal Nation, performers are invited to perform for 3–5 minutes. All are welcome, so make sure you channel the theme of this year's NAIDOC celebration – Get Up, Show Up, Stand Up and take part on the day!
NAIDOC Week celebrations at the MCA will take place from Sunday 3 July to Saturday 9 July, visit the Museum for a NAIDOC panel discussion, film screenings and more.
