The Rocks comes alive with colour and carnival this Australia Day for the Sydney Street Party. A treat is in store for all the senses, with plenty of mouth-watering flavours from around the world, interactive games, activities and roving performers from morning till night.

Jack Mundey Place will be transformed with market stalls featuring locally designed fashion, jewellery and original art. Spend your day relaxing and enjoying all that Australia Day has to offer against the historic backdrop of The Rocks.

Sydney Street Party
11.30am - 6.30pm

The Rocks comes alive with colour and carnival this Australia Day for the Sydney Street Party. A treat is in store for all the senses, with plenty of mouth-watering flavours from around the world, interactive games, activities and roving performers from morning till night. Jack Mundey Place will be transformed with market stalls featuring locally designed fashion, jewellery and original art. Spend your day relaxing and enjoying all that Australia Day has to offer against the historic backdrop of The Rocks.

GIO Oz Day 10K Wheelchair Race
8am - 10.30am

Some of the world’s best wheelchair athletes will converge on Sydney to battle it out in the GIO Oz Day 10k race. To get a glimpse of participants whizzing by at exhilarating speeds, head to George Street in The Rocks and Hickson Road for the best vantage points.

Warrane DJ Stage
12 noon - 6pm

If chilled tunes are on your Australia Day agenda, come and soak up the festival atmosphere at the Sydney Street Party in The Rocks. With a licensed bar and outdoor entertainment, the Warrane Stage is the perfect place to grab a beer and a bite, then sit back and listen to a line-up of some of Sydney freshest local DJ’s.

Live at the Quay!
6.30pm - 9.30pm

On offer for the first time, Live at the Quay! is a breathtaking maritime, musical and dance extravaganza right in the middle of Circular Quay.

Harbour parades, jet-ski shows and a series of dazzling fireworks displays will transform the water and skies at Circular Quay.

You’ll also be treated to a classical on-water opera, a performance by the Indigenous children’s choir KARI, and a tribute to Dr G. Yunupingu through a performance of Djapana – Sunset Dreaming.

Live at the Quay! is the perfect way to end your Australia Day.
