The Russell Hotel in The Rocks is known for its charming rooftop garden and central location, but what many don’t know is that it’s also one of the most haunted hotels in the world. The hotel’s most infamous ghost is an unnamed sailor who was murdered by a sex worker. His spirit is said to linger in room number eight where he met his end, appearing only to women sleeping on their own.
