Map, showing Le Foote

Le Foote is a Euro wine bar, pub and restaurant in one of The Rocks oldest buildings, by the hospo legends at Swillhouse.

Part Parisian wine bar, part ‘Mediterranean Grill’. Jovial atmosphere, expert service, art and romance waltz within it’s walls. Classical Jazz, Euro-tech groove, and the promise of delicacies cooked over charcoal carry on the wind across this magical, and wonderfully mysterious cobblestone community.

One of the oldest buildings in the Rocks, directly across the road from the Museum of Contemporary Art was constructed in 1838 and has spent time as a private residence, a pub and an oyster bar. It’s hiding countless charming spaces with plenty of character, including little cobblestone laneways, sundrenched courtyards and old school pub vibes.

Now, thanks to one of Sydney’s most iconic hospo names, Swillhouse, it’s one of Sydney’s buzziest wine bars.

A visit to Le Foote promises plenty of heritage character plus a generous list of European wines and Australian craft beers.

One step inside and you’ll notice the ramshackle charm of the space alongside a few contemporary renovations courtesy of the Swillhouse team. And while you might come for the incredible venue, you’ll stay for the delicious menu, bustling atmosphere and friendly service.
