Blak Markets is returning to Tallawoladah Lawn this November for one-day only!

The Blak Markets are an established, ethical Indigenous market and social enterprise that celebrates the work of First Nations small business owners.
This November, the Blak Markets will return to Tallawoladah Lawn in The Rocks for one-day only and will include:- Unique Indigenous stalls
- Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
- a free weaving workshop open to the public
- traditional Indigenous dance performances
- kids workshop
Shop original, authentic and affordable artworks, one-of-a-kind handcrafted homewares and jewellery. Enjoy the markets knowing that 100% of profits made are going back into Aboriginal communities.
Program
- 10:00 am Markets open
- 10:30am: Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
- 10:45am: Traditional Dance Performance by Dancing with my Ancestors
- 11:20am-11:50am: Singing Performance by Dale Huddleston
- 11am-3:30pm: Free weaving workshop with Aunty Karleen
- 12:00pm: Children's workshop by Aunty Amanda
- 1:30pm: Traditional Dance Performance by Dancing with my Ancestors
- 2:30-3:00pm: Singing Performance by Dale Huddleston
- 4:00pm: Markets close
