Blak Markets is returning to The Rocks this May for one-day only!

The Blak Markets are an established, ethical Indigenous market and social enterprise that celebrates the work of First Nations small business owners.

The Rocks is hosting a one-day only Blak Markets event, including:

  • 20 unique Indigenous stalls
  • Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
  • a free weaving workshop open to the public
  • traditional Indigenous dance performances
  • kids dance and ochre workshop

Shop original, authentic and affordable artworks, one-of-a-kind handcrafted homewares and jewellery as well as delicious Aboriginal inspired food and refreshments. Enjoy the markets knowing that 100% of profits made are going back into Aboriginal communities.

Join us for Blak Markets at Dawes Point Park, under the Harbour Bridge in The Rocks.

Sunday 11 May:

10.00am: Markets open
10.30am: Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
10.30am - 3.30pm: Free weaving workshop
11am: Dance performance by Gawura Cultural Immersions
12.00pm: Kids dance and ochre workshop
1.30pm: Dance performance by Gawura Cultural Immersions
4.00pm: Market closes
