Light up your night with four days of free live music, every week during Vivid Sydney.

The Rocks is the place to be for free music during Vivid Sydney. Electrifying DJs take over the corner of George Street and Hickson Road from 6pm to 10pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Head over to The Rocks Sqaure where DJ Peter Le Fue will deliver global beats & grooves, including choice selections of French chanson, Bossa Nova and 50’s Italian pop from his mobile disco bicycle from 6pm to 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights, creating the perfect energetic soundtrack for your Vivid adventure. Whether you’re exploring the Light Walk or soaking up the harbour atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to pause and enjoy the rhythm of the night.

On Thursdays, The Rocks shifts into a smoother groove with free Jazz Sessions in The Rocks Square from 6pm to 8.30pm. These live performances bring soulful sounds to the heart of the precinct, offering a relaxed way to start your evening.

DJ Macaroni has been making waves in the Australian club scene since her debut in 2022. A booking agent by day and muso by trade, she’s immersed on and off the decks. She’s shared stages with Four Tet, Tourist, Daphni, Mark Blair, Interplanetary Criminal, Bushbaby and Boys Noize, and played at beloved clubs and festivals including Lost Paradise, Splendour in the Grass, Laneway, Revolver, Lost Sundays, Chinese Laundry, Club 77 and more. Spanning house, prog, acid, trance and beyond, DJ Macaroni delivers infectious energy, sharp selection and consistently good vibes that keep dancefloors moving late into the morning hours worldwide.

Sanchez X
Sanchez X is not just a doof extraordinaire, he truly represents the underground dance scene. With a Chilean background, he embodies a level of love, passion and drive. As anyone who has witnessed him in action would know, Sanchez X wears his heart on his sleeve, expressing his emotion for music in a uniquely visceral way. Sanchez X also founded People’s Party, a collective and duo with Jake Broxom (Schooner), that’s been gaining momentum and lots of love from the Sydney/Eora dance community. Sanchez X’s love for secret raves and the allure of house music make each set a celebration.

Rebecca Rosenfunk
Rebecca Rosenfunk lives up to her name with melting pot mixes of funky goodness that include elements of soul, funk, disco, boogie, and world rhythms. Rebecca hosts Funk Sundays every third week of the month at The Hive Bar, is a member of Queen Bee vinyl collective and you can catch her hosting The Beat Kitchen on 2SER 107.3FM Sundays at 5pm.

Charlie Villas
Charlie Villas is a Sydney-based DJ and event curator known for genre-blurring sets that move fluidly across eras and dancefloors. Drawing on the legacy of iconic New York clubs, their sound is both global and deeply intuitive — equal parts crate-digging and storytelling. Charlie has played internationally in Bali, London, New York, Paris and Tokyo, with appearances at beloved queer parties (Heaps Gay, Loose Ends), major cultural events (Archibald Opening, NGV Gala) and festivals (Dark Mofo, Vivid) across the country.

Kali
Carly Roberts – aka Kali – has been a driving force in Sydney’s nightlife and electronic music community for close to two decades. A seasoned DJ who has spent more than half her life in the booth, her talent has earned her numerous features on Boiler Room and countless performances at the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Festival, Subsonic, Vivid Sydney, Astral People’s Summer Dance and Mad Racket, to name a few. La Foxy Fuzz
La Foxy Fuzz is a Colombian-born, Sydney-based vinyl DJ known for her high-energy sets rooted in Latin, funk, soul, and Caribbean rhythms. With over a decade of crate digging and a deep love for analog sound, she has built a strong reputation through residencies, community-led projects, and performances at major cultural events including Vivid Sydney, Sydney Festival, Fringe Festival, and ICC Sydney. Her sound has also traveled internationally, with sets in Melbourne alongside El Gran Mono and in Bogotá with the women’s collective Los Rulos. She is also the co-founder of Discoteca Tropical, a platform that brings global vinyl culture to sold-out crowds across Australia.

SIILA is an Australian DJ and producer known for floor-focused house sets shaped by strong musical instincts and technical confidence. Her sound moves through house in its many forms - drawing from progressive and ’90s house, Chicago and acid influences, with touches of soulful house and classic disco. Each set is built in real time, prioritising flow, restraint and connection, and responding directly to the energy of the room. As one half of disco duo Groove City, Discoloro has been a beloved staple of Sydney’s dancefloors for over a decade. You may have caught Reenie on the airwaves hosting ‘Sunset with Motorik’ on FBI Radio and ‘Crossing The Streams’ on 2SER, behind a drum kit as a human 808 in Sydney/Eora band ‘Good Pash’ or behind the decks at local institutions such as Club 77, Freda’s and Pleasure Club. Reenie has a talent for blending the eccentric and eclectic into a cosmic journey through sound, with a record collection to match her passion for all things auditory. Reenie’s dj sets are uniquely blended, often doused with expansive percussion, cosmic synths and electro chug energy. Her energy and passion are contagious, ready to keep you on the dancefloor and subtly opening Shazam.

Santamaria Brothers
Santamaria Brothers are Pat and Andrew Santamaria; siblings whose lifelong musical journey bridges Latin American rhythm, indie rebellion, and the chaos of underground dance culture. Raised in Australia by Peruvian and Ecuadorian parents, their sound is shaped by deep-rooted Latin soul, filtered through years spent in clubs, warehouses, and record crates. Cutting their teeth as the rhythm section of globally touring indie outfit Lost Valentinos, the brothers later immersed themselves in Sydney’s electronic underground, co-founding the influential techno label, warehouse party collective, and radio show Motorik.

Julian Munyard
Very rarely does a project make you stop what you’re doing, spit out your mouthful of spritz and think “what is this?”. You think you know it but at the same time can’t tell if it’s from today, tomorrow or many yesterday’s ago. Enter Julian Munyard and his eclectic brand of kaleidoscopic disco dance pop. Munyard creates a mood, a feeling, a distinct taste more so than just “music”. Full of sweet technicolour, dusty fingerprints and glistening melodies, his craft is reminiscent of finding the perfect piece of fruit on a hot summer’s day. With supports for Donny Benet, Velvet Trip, and Lazywax under his belt, Julian is not one to miss.

Otis James is a Sydney-based electronic artist blending house, UKG, breakbeat, and indie dance into emotionally driven, club-ready music. Jane Decks is a Sydney-based DJ, producer and promoter known for deep, groove-forward sets spanning house, techno, garage, & breaks. She’s played venues including Chinese Laundry, Revolver Upstairs, Lost Sundays and Dayshift, and is the founder of the collective Bunny & Friends.

Jacqui Cunningham
A mainstay of the Eora music scene, Jacqui Cunningham brings depth and energy to every dance floor. With nearly 15 years of crate-digging, mixing, and performing, they have built a strong presence in Australia’s electronic and LGBTQIA+ music communities. A trusted underground selector, Jacqui has played major festivals including Lost Paradise, Beyond The Valley, Laneway, Dark Mofo, and Splendour in the Grass, as well as iconic queer institutions Loose Ends and House of Mince. They are also the force behind GiRLTHING, one of Australia’s leading queer parties.

DJ Peter Le Fue is the alter ego of the talented multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer Trevor Brown. For decades, he has been a prominent artist and DJ at global festivals such as ARS Electronica, Venice Biennale, La Luna Nel Pozzo, and Sedam Dana Stvaranja.

Peter Le Fue is set to light up the night with a mix of global beats, electronica, retro Euro pop, and sélections des choix, all from his disco-lit sound system ice cream bike.
