The weather may be chilly, but The Rocks is heating up this August. Get ready to explore Sydney’s most charming inner-city suburb with Unlock The Rocks. Follow your senses through our historic laneways and uncover delightful discoveries.

Discover food trails for all occasions, dive into $25 cocktail and canapés, indulge in fresh seafood offerings, feast on cheesy delights, treat yourself to a freshly brewed coffee or explore dishes with native ingredients. Plus, savour budget-friendly bites, hit up unbeatable happy hours, and explore new foodie traders. 

Explore The Rocks Markets workshops on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August, partnering with Clove, you can try your hand at a food masterclass or sit back and watch a foodie demonstration. 

Friday 1 August will see The Rocks Markets returning on Fridays, be sure to explore hot food from passionate local traders, artisanal food products and quick gifts. 

Fancy a bit of culture? Unlock The Rocks Weekend on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 August. You can start at First Fleet Park sipping your way through six NSW Wine stalls, sampling delicious cheese, oysters, and more all whilst listening to live jazz. There's also a fun jazz trail throughout The Rocks at your favourite venues and lots of special food experiences just for the weekend. Entry is free! Be sure to also visit The Rocks Markets where you can select from four themed Taste Trail Tours.

The Cocktail Trail is back! Sip and savour an array of cocktails and canapes for just $25 at 21 enticing venues.
Unlock The Rocks and experience the ultimate cocktail adventure, available all month long. Explore perfectly paired cocktails and canapes at each venue for just $25. With 21 venues participating, there's plenty to suit every taste. 

If you're a lover of Japanese cuisine, look no further than a whisky or high ball expertly paired with delicate tuna or kingfish nori crisps at Saké Restaurant & Bar. More of a sweet tooth?  Discover the Midnight Alejandro cocktail at The Cut, paired with a mini honey cake. 

With so many flavour-filled pairings to explore, there’s no way to experience it all in one visit. Come once, come often — and sip your way through The Rocks all month long.

Cheese Trail
Love cheese? You’re in for a treat. The Cheese Trail is your ultimate excuse to Unlock The Rocks this winter – one gooey, golden, delicious stop at a time. Five venues are serving up signature cheese creations – including molten toasties at Harrington St Deli, rich Basque cheesecakes at Aslan Coffee Roasters, seared haloumi at Tayim and more.

Visiting on a Thursday night? Head into Jazz Sessions at The Rocks Square, open from 6pm - 8.30pm to enjoy sweet tunes by musicians from the Aussie Jazz scene, before exploring one of the many food and drink trails available throughout the month.
