Follow your senses into a month-long feast of flavour and discovery. This August, every doorway in The Rocks hides something worth savouring. Come hungry, leave happy.

August filled the precinct with $25 cocktails, new doors and long lunches. Tough act to follow. So we're changing the medium.

All September, Art and Culture Month takes over The Rocks. Self-guided art trails between heritage galleries, live jazz against sandstone, comedy nights, weekend workshops, crates of vinyl to dig through, and the markets running Friday to Sunday.

Then the send-off. Unbound Street Performance Festival closes the month of September with giant puppets, acrobats and street performers taking over the laneways. The kind of last weekend you'd rather not just hear about on Monday.

Art and Culture Month

Something is unfolding in the laneways this September.
A doorway becomes a stage. A courtyard fills with jazz. A stranger becomes part of the moment. Performance, art, food and people collide and coexist — blurring the line between the curated and the accidental.

Unbound: Street Performance Festival

For one weekend the performers spill out and take over the streets in The Rocks. Turn a corner, find a show. Then another.

SAT 26 – SUN 27 SEP | 11AM – 7PM
 

The finale weekend goes out loud. Kath and Kim inspired duo host a wine session at the Cellar Door, giant bin-chicken puppets cause trouble down the laneways, and Legs on the Wall turn the harbour steps into a stage. Buskers, fire-eaters and a DIY disco where you pick the playlist fill in the gaps.

Two days, no set route, and the whole precinct in on it. Free to wander, so just turn up and follow the noise.
